Commencement

Hello everyone,

I am very excited to reveal the next phase of Armani’s Parlour today after nearly two and a half years. This new era of the Parlour is a celebration of curiosity across realities! To explain what that means, I’ll share what it has meant to me…

Simply put, curiosity is a major factor in what makes life amazing. Especially as relatively new realities, like virtual reality and augmented reality, bridge humanity closer together. This discovery has allowed us to get even closer than the internet did over the past few decades. Without it, I would not have met nearly as many new friends (more than I have ever had), learned as much about digital society and culture, or learned as much about myself as I have.

The effect of this altogether feels like existing in multiple eras at once as social VR has evolved so much and I’m shaking my head in disbelief and/or wonder at the privilege to carry these memories forward. This is including the memories made in physical reality as certain relationships that formed in one reality cross over into another. It is thanks to the following wonderful human beings not just listed below, but also to come, that I am continually inspired, affirmed, advised, and driven to create what my dreams are made of.
